In Nov 2019, I stayed a night in Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Oshiage, where is settled super near of Tokyo Sky Tree Tower.
agodaRichmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Oshiage
Convenient from Haneda & Narita Airports
I went to there with a subway Aasakusa line, which is directly connected from Keikyu Line from/ to Haneda Airport, and of course it is connected to Keisei Line from/ to Narita Airport.
The station name is “Oshiage (Sky Tree)”, 押上(スカイツリー前). On the Sky Tree Tower, there are a shopping mall of “Soramachi”, but the hotel is not located on the “Soramachi” side. Do not go up the Soramachi, please find out B3 gate, there is a lift too.
You will find out a supermarket, “Life”, which building is also Richmond Hotel located.
It is super easy to/ from airports with a suitcase.
Hotel
Hotel reception is 5th floor, and there are also a buffet restaurant of “Sizzler”, they serves breakfast. But it can be too much, and I am a person who do not want to go outside of the room in morning with an empty. I bought something on the supermarket in the down floors, and roaming nearby and found a convenience store, to eat few.
They are pretty enough for my night snuck and breakfast :).
My room is a twin room.
The room itself is not quite large, but the night before arriving at Tokyo, I was in Osaka, stayed a night in First Cabin!
I was pretty happy.
The bath is typically Japanese style.
Wash your hair & body in the right side, and sink your body on the bath tab.
In the wash room, there are two sinks (with enough amenities).
Also, notable thing is the bath amenities. Mikimoto!!!!!
The hand soap is also by Mikimoto.
According to one of the best friends living not quite far from Oshiage area, this area is originally a residential area, it is a quiet and nice place.
Also, the Sky Tree Tower shaped bottled water is a give away.
Unfortunately, there are no time to enjoy Soramachi, but I bought The Alley Aurora bottle, I drunk in a airplane (domestic flight) to back to my home.
